Welcome to information on Kumasi Cub Pack!

Kumasi Pack was re-started in March 2011. They have a varied programme for children aged 8 to 10½ years, including visits from local people, District Scouting Leaders, local police.

The strong, motivated, young Leadership team run a fun packed programme for the Cubs.  Cubs meet weekly, do activities with the Scout Troop, take part in District activities and camp.  Also activities including cooking, camping, scouting skills, games, 1st Aid, craft; all whilst having lots of fun!

We have a Cub Scout Leader and an Assistant, however we are always happy to hear from any adult willing to help in this section please get in contact.

The Pack is well represented at Romsey St George’s Day Parade, Braishfield Remembrance Day Parade, holds a summer tea party for the pensioners and are always willing to help out at local events.

Cubs from Kumasi Pack are automatically given a place at Ashanti Troop, the Group’s Scout Troop, around the time they turn 10½.

Cub Scouts enjoy new adventures while making new friends along the way. Their commitment is recognised by over thirty activity badges. As well as regular weekly meeting, Cub Scouts also enjoy activity days, weekend camps and pack holidays.

Nanaksar Gurdwara

June 21st, 2018

Cubs were fortunate to have a very informative visit the Nanaksar Gurdwara in Southampton this evening. They viewed a prayer session, musical instruments, learnt a lot about the Sihk faith and received Langaar, a free meal available to all who visit the temple. A thoroughly though provoking evening.

Litter action

June 9th, 2018

Cubs walked an amazing 6 miles of the Test Way this evening whilst looking for litter along the way. Fortunately they didn’t find much, although they were disappointed as they were well prepared with gloves and litter picking sticks provided by Test Valley Council Recycling Stars.
