What’s under the bonnet?

The Scouts spent an evening at Greatbridge Garage poking under the bonnet of a car to find out what makes it tick.  They also had the wheels off, checked tyre pressures and learnt how to use an airline.  Lastly they found out how many Scouts you can get into a Ford Fiesta!

We will remember them

The Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Young Leaders, Leaders, Exec and parents turned out for the Remembrance Service at Braishfield today.  There was a really good turn out, the sun shone and every young person looked smart and behaved themselves impeccably.  I was very proud to be a member of 3rd Romsey Scout Group and to be a Leader with these young people.

Drop hike

On Thursday we went on a drop hike.  Our parents were told to take us to a point, then the Leaders took us to the place where we were to start our walk.  We all started at different  points.

Potty!

Today we did pottery.  It was good fun.  We made faces with clay.  Roger came in to teach us how to make it.  We got to design what we made.  He taught us how to make detailed features on masks.  Everyone enjoyed themselves.
