Wet and wild

Tonight we played two wide games.  The first was like capture the flag, but with glow sticks.  It was VERY wet and muddy!  After that we did a different one which was with a deck of cards and you had to capture your team mates and get a full deck of cards!

Cub Centenary

Cubs found out about Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of Scouting because 2016 is the centenary of Cub Scouts. They played a B-P relay race, a quiz and other traditional Scouting games. Akela gave them all the special centenary badge for Cubs to wear on their uniform.

PPPP Planning

Tonight we were planning our PPPP (Parents Pancake and Pasta Party)!  We decided our pancake flavours and made pancakes to freeze and wrote invitations to our parents.  We also played games, it was a fun evening.

Tanzania – an adventure of a lifetime!

Kathleen a Senior Patrol Leader from 3rd Romsey Scouts has been selected from Hampshire to represent the Scouts in Tanzania in 2017.  Kathleen will be part of a unit made up of 150 young people aged 14 – 18, who will be guided by 50 adult volunteers.
