The best AGM I have ever attended, other groups could learn from 3rd, everyone involved, Parents, Cubs and Scouts and Leaders, what a jolly evening.   Thanks for inviting me. Could you please say a thank you to James Lafeaty your Chairman, I felt quite honoured to be asked to attend.   See you all soon

A perfect AGM!

Thank you all for tuning out – what a brilliant evening!  The hall was full of Cubs, Scouts, parents, Exec members, Leaders, guests from District – and it was lovely to see you all.  It was especially nice to introduce Mat, our new Beaver Leader, and to welcome potential Beaver parents to meet the Group.

Congratulations Alex on being awarded your Moving On award.  It was presented at the AGM in front of the Group, family and friends.  It has been a pleasure having you!  We’ll miss you at Scouts – but can’t wait for you to come back as a Young Leader!  Enjoy your future Scouting.

Congratulations on earning your Chief Scout’s Silver Award!  It was a very proud day when Akela presented the badges at our AGM in front of Cubs, Scouts, family and friends.

The Scouts had a great evening with Tim Waterman having a go at air rifle shooting.  Some found they were naturals – others found that after a bit of practice they really did improve!  The Leaders also ran knotting bases to keep the Scouts out of mischief whilst waiting.  Thanks Tim – it was bril!

AGM – come and see what we’ve been doing

Everyone is welcome to come and see us at our AGM on Thursday, 15 May 2014.  Arrive from 6.30pm for tea, cake and fencing demonstration (Épée not timber!) followed at 7pm for a half hour meeting and ending with a slideshow of what we’ve been up to over the past 12 months.
